1) What grade do you currently teach? Have you taught any other grades?
I am one of two sped teachers at my school, and I focus on the third and fourth grade students. Last year, I taught in a resource classroom in a high school. It was definitely a challenge, but I absolutely fell in love with my students and enjoyed the year. In one day, I taught Biology (yikes!), English 10-11-12, History (my favorite!), and some learning skills classes. I was back to studying books at home every night before teaching!
2) What is your favorite thing about teaching? Least favorite? My favorite thing about teaching is for sure my students – they light up my world!
Least fav – sped paperwork is nooo walk in the park…
