It's no secret... #teacherslovetarget

For teachers, Target is like heaven on earth.

It is where we find our cutesie clothes, home candy, & all things teachery {helllllo dollar spot!}.

All on a teacher's budget.

I personally make up excuses 2-3X per week just to take that 5 minute trip out to Target, just because I just never know what I will find.

I love to walk up and down the aisles and find those bright red taggies that shout "Buy me! I'm on sale!" And, although at the time I see the item I have no idea what I could use it for, I have to buy it because it is so gosh darn CHEAP!

Since Instagram has because such a large part of the teacher bloggie world, I got this little idea!

What if we documented our super finds through Instragram by the hashtag #teacherslovetarget so other teachers could see our goodies incase they had a Target trip in their near future.

Thus I spent all night creating this....

So, if you find yourself at Target, OR if you have already discovered something fabulous at Target.. SNAP a photo and post in on Instagram and be sure to use the hashtag #teacherslovetarget to show off your goodies to the world!

Likewise, if you are a teacher looking for some good finds, search #teacherslovetarget and explore!

Feel free to copy the photo into a post on your own blog to spread the word! With the summer giving us lots of time to prepare for the next school year, this is the perfect time to be on the look out for bargains!

Enjoy!

  1. What a great idea! I'm going not to check it out! I wish I just lived 5 minutes from Target. I'm about an hour and a half from the nearest Target. I have to really plan out my trips so this will be great for me!!

  2. I love your idea, Gabrielle! I have not been in a few days which is very out of character for me haha. I just saw some of the stuff people linked up on instagram and now I see a shopping trip on Monday.

  3. This is really an amazing unit that will get the students engaged and help them understand the concepts about fractions. Great job on all of your hard work. I would love using this unit in my classroom as well.

    Sparkles for you,
