Don't paper pinwheels just make you smile?
For my classroom this year, I wanted the atmosphere to be cheerful & happy, but I didn't want to use a specific theme or set on certain colors. Rather, I just wanted my room to be a definition of my style, which is very shabby chic/vintage mixed with the modern look of chevron & patterns.
I'm aiming for softer colors and chalkboard backgrounds.
I love to mix sea greens, various reds, and loads of old/vintage looking graphing papers and maps!

This week, I got to tackle some of the paper product decorations I wanted to create for my room.
I had these three scrapbook paper books from Michaels - each bought with a 40% coupon and of course my 15% off teacher discount! Well worth the money - as I am going to use every bit of it!!
For this post, I am going to show picture directions on how I made my paper pinwheels. In tomorrow and Wednesday's posts, I will show you how I made the hanging paper lanterns and paper pinwheel wreath.
