To celebrate this fun day, and to celebrate the launch of a new product line of counting adapted books, I wanted to share a little freebie with ya'll! We started using these in our classroom last week and the students LOVED them! These books can be used in SO many different ways, one on one instruction, IEP goal work, independent work tasks, whole group and small group math activities.. the list goes on! Every book comes with a corresponding story mat to use for story problems! Love how interactive and hands on these can be for counting practice!
Assembly is easy peasy! I used some plastic coins I had on hand from Dollar Tree, but there are coins in the pack incase you don't have some. Enjoy the freebie!
Be sure to check out my other Spring Adapted Books for Counting - You can get them in a bundle or by the book!
Here is how you can make them an independent work task. Print enough pieces for the student to use on each page. When the student is finished with the task (put pieces on all the pages for each number), they would run out of pieces and know they are finished. You would be able to go back and check to ensure they counted correctly.
